[A very well-timed explosion crackles in the air over the castle town, raining down golden sparks. Masamune glances out at it and perks up.]

Ahh. About time!

[There's a long pause after the starting signal before a bigger cluster of fireworks is set off. Masamune's more than happy to sacrifice part of the New Year's supply for a night like this.]

[ He called him Yukimura again, and it's not even the thing that carries the most impact. Hearing a vow like that would be enough to make him cry, normally. The only reason he doesn't is the sudden shock of the explosion. Those golden sparks... are they what he thinks they are?

He waits with bated breath, and sure enough, a flurry of fireworks follow in the wake of the first one. ]

Magnificent...! I had not anticipated fireworks, Masamune!!

[ That beautiful view is all the more compelling with colorful sparks filling the sky. Yukimura looks downright enchanted. ]

[It's better that Yukimura watches the fireworks instead of looking at Masamune's face right now, because his big fat smarmy smirk is a real mood-killer.]
