[ The two characters' love and trust couldn't be matched. The author clearly wanted to show how a small token of kindness could bloom into something powerful and beautiful. Sasuke wishes more stories ended like this one did. The author wrote a few more, but Sasuke has yet to find copies. (And it's not like he could go around asking for them when he had tried to keep this pastime hidden from others.) ]

Now for my end of the deal... Yukimura....

[ Sasuke pushes the tray of dango and beverages (tea and sake) toward Yukimura so that it's between them. He did his best to disguise all the fillings with a layer of normal dango. There are wooden picks to use to eat them since Sasuke didn't make multiples to skewer on a stick. ]

Flavored dango are mixed among the normal variety. You won't know what you get until you bite into it.
